15 Months

I was so bad about taking pictures this month. woops.

Gavin is 15 months old! It is crazy how fast time flies when you have more than one kid to worry about. I can only imagine what it will be like when we have 3 or 4. He did really well at the Dr. and only had to get 2 shots.

Gavin's Stats:

Height: 31.5 in. (64%tile)

Weight: 22.4 lbs. (45%tile)

Head: 19 in. (82%tile)

He's still a little guy but he's catching up. I'm not sure he will ever reach Brady in the height department though. Brady is almost 40 inches tall! He is almost tall enough for the rides at Disneyland and he's not even 3. He wears 4T clothing and is just so huge compared to Gavin who barely fits into 18 month stuff. Funny, two kids, same parents, totally and completely different in every way.

Some things about Gav:

- LOVES Brady and Daddy more than anyone else. It used to make me feel kind of bad that he always wanted Matt but I really think it's cute. Maybe he won't be a mama's boy like his brother after all. It does make it nice though because Brady always wants me and Gavin always wants Matt, we are never having to do a 2 on 1 thing. Makes it easier.

Don't mind the chocolate on his shirt :)

- Loves hats and shoes. He is always wanting me to put a "ha" on or put his "shsss" on

- Talks really well for his age. He repeats a lot of what we say. I won't list them all but he can say mama, daddy, brady, go, car, fishy, love you, night night, doggie, cracker, sucker, parker, grandpa, grandma, shoes, hat, drink, milk, more, etc. He talks a ton. It is so much fun to hear him.

- Wears 12-18 month clothing and a size 4 diaper

- Sleeps from 8-6:30 or 7 usually

- Has 6 teeth finally. He is teething like crazy though. His molars should be through any day now.

- Takes 1 nap from 12-3 everyday

- Loves to play outside and climbs onto everything

- Runs all over the place

- Hates church...big surprise...what kid likes church at 15 months. He was so bad last week in RS and when I walked out of the room he started clapping and saying "yay!" What!? He totally knew what he was doing.

- Loves pat-a-cake, peekaboo, and Popcorn popping

- Loves bath time. He could sit in the tub all day if I would let him.

-Goes up and down the stairs really well now. It's nice when you live somewhere that has stairs so they can learn quicker. 

- No more bottles! We weaned him off of the bottle at 14 months. A little longer than Brady but still not too bad.

- He is super attached to his binky and blanket. So much so that I think we will get rid of it soon. It's going to be tough but the sooner the better I think. Then he can't get anymore attached than he already is.
- Such a funny personality. He pretends to cry, gives you big cheesy smiles, and is such a funny kid.
- Can tell you what a cow, monkey, dog, cat, and lion say. and...thanks to my little sister Kenzie, he can tell you what mommy says which means he shakes his finger at you and says "no no." Thanks a lot Kenz.

it's actually pretty stinkin cute :)

We love our little Gav. He is such a joy to have around. He is always smiling and laughing and brings a lot of happiness into our home.
