We headed to Denver on Thursday for some much needed R&R and to visit Matt's brother and his family who just recently moved there. It was so nice to get away. We arrived Thursday afternoon and it began snowing around 8 pm. The snow didn't stop until 10 am Saturday morning. It was crazy. There were two feet of snow when it finally stopped. The kids loved it because school was canceled and they got to play in the snow all day. We did not come prepared for a blizzard and only brought a coat and hat. Yes, that is Brady wearing the pink snow pants and hello kitty rain boots...you do what you gotta do.
Since we were confined to the house, we watched a lot of Modern Family, ate too much yummy food, played apples to apples, and enjoyed hanging out and relaxing. The kids did ok most of the time (you never know how they will be off a schedule) and loved running around with their cousins. Gavin got loved on quite a bit and is probably suffering from withdrawals. I think he is going through a growth spurt since he slept a ton while we were there. We had a great time and are missing Travis, Mindy, and the kids already. Thanks for having us, guys! We will be back soon for another visit :)

We loved having you guys and hope you come back really soon. Next time you come, hopefully we will not be stuck in the house. Miss you guys!
